Air Sicilia is adding two Fokker F28 Mk4000s on lease from Montenegro Airlines. Royal Air Maroc has taken delivery of two Boeing 737-800s, leased for three years from GE Capital Services. The two aircraft are supplementing the Casablanca-based carrier's own Next Generation 737s on its European, African and Middle East network. By mid-June, the airline will operate six 737-700/800s - four -800s and two -700s. Greek carrier Macedonian Airlines is upgrading its fleet with the introduction of two ex-Air Berlin Boeing 737-400s leased from Pembroke Capital. The Olympic Airways subsidiary operates two Boeing 727-200s leased from its parent. Eagle Aviation, based in Mombasa, Kenya, has added a second ex-Noroeste ATR 42-320 in a deal arranged by Fortis Prop Jet, boosting its fleet of the type to three. Sahara Airlines, based in New Delhi, is planning to add two ex-Jet Airways Boeing 737-400s from the manufacturer. Jersey European Airways has extended leases until October 1999 on two British Aerospace ATPs leased from British World Airlines. Air Dolomiti has wet-leased two Alpi Eagles Fokker 100s to operate alongside its all-turboprop fleet of ATR 42/72s. Air Service Gabon has upgraded its fleet with an ex-Surinam Airways Bombardier Dash 8-300. Midwest Airlines, the new Egyptian operator based in Cairo, will begin operations in June using an ex-Air Afrique Airbus A310-300 leased from European financial institutions. A second A310 is also due to join the fleet. British Airways has sold four Boeing 757-200s, due for delivery later this year, to Rolls-Royce. The aircraft, which are R-R-powered, will be managed by Pembroke Capital when they are delivered to BA on lease. Spanish charter airline Futura has increased its Boeing 737-800 commitment to six aircraft, with plans to take two more on lease from GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) in mid-2000. The first aircraft is due for delivery in November on five year lease.
