Air Nostrum has bought three Fokker 50s off lease from Kenya Airways. The Spanish regional carrier has operated the aircraft on lease from Kenya for a year. Premiair has signed operating leases for three new Airbus A330-300s for delivery next summer. The Rolls-Royce Trent 772B-powered aircraft will be operated alongside two A330-200s, which will arrive in December to replace Premiair's four McDonnell Douglas DC-10-10s. UK charter airline Airtours International has signed leases for two Airbus A321s for delivery next May and June. l'Aeropostale has acquired four used ATR 72s for conversion to freighters. The aircraft, which include two ex-Transasia machines, will feature 2.9m (9ft) cargo doors and will be used on French mail services. Air Mauretanie has introduced an ex-Merpati Fokker F28 Mk4000 on lease from Caskett Trading. Flying Enterprise, the last scheduled operator of a Shorts 330 in Europe, has sold its 15 year-old aircraft to Space Age Aviation of the USA. Burlington, Washington-based Pan Pacific Airways has placed orders with Let for up to 21 aircraft, including five 19-seat L-420s (plus 15 options) and two 40-seat L-410Gs. Deliveries will begin in during the third quarter. Colombian regional carrier Aerotransportes Casanore SA (Aerotaca Columbia) is returning its two leased Saab 340Bs because of the economic downturn in Latin America. ATR has remarketed 25 used aircraft in the first half of the year, including 19 ATRs and Embraer EMB-120 Brasilias acquired through trade-ins. It expects to conclude 15 more transactions by year-end. Deals include placing two ex-Regional Airlines ATR 42-300s with new Italian operator Si Fly, and two ATR 42s with Dutch carrier KLMexel. Egypt's Scorpio has also acquired a second used ATR 42-320. Ontario-based Kelner Air Centers has signed for 10 Ayres LM200 Loadmaster cargo aircraft, and Holland's Duijvestijn Aviation has doubled its orders, to 10.
