Embraer has announced a rash of new orders: Air Moldova has signed for two ERJ-145s and two options; Casablanca, Morocco-based Regional Air Lines has ordered five ERJ-135s plus five options; Greece's Axon Airlines will take four ERJ-145s plus two options; French charter operator Regourd Aviatio-Occitana is acquiring one firm and one optioned ERJ-135; and Pan Européenne Air Service, also of France, has ordered one firm and one optioned ERJ-135. Alitalia Express has increased its ERJ-145 orders to eight and retains 13 options, while Poland's LOT has placed an additional firm order for an unspecified number of ERJ-145s. World Airways has signed a letter of intent for two additional McDonnell Douglas DC-10-30Fs, to add to the three aircraft it committed to previously. The five aircraft, to be delivered this year and next, will be on three- and seven-year leases. World has replaced one DC-10 passenger aircraft with a similar aircraft on lease until April 2003.
