Kuala Lumpur-based low-cost AirAsia has taken delivery of an ex-Regional Air Boeing 737-300 from Ansett World-wide on a long-term lease. Lauda Air has reached agreement with Boeing to cancel its fourth General Electric GE90-powered Boeing 777-200ER deal, and swap the order for three Boeing 737-800s for delivery in April 2005 and April and June 2006. Manila-based Cebu Pacific Air has leased an ex-British Airways Boeing 757-200 from Boullioun Aviation Services. Low-cost carrier Cebu will operate the Rolls-Royce RB211-535E4-powered aircraft within the Philippines and to a number of regional destinations, including Hong Kong, Singapore and South Korea.
