THY Turkish Airlines has confirmed its expected deal for Airbus and Boeing aircraft, signing a memorandum of understanding for 19 A320s, 12 A321s and five A330-200s and an order for 15 more 737-800s. Deliveries of the Airbus aircraft are scheduled from the end of 2005. Indian low-cost carrier Air Deccan has signed for three secondhand ATR 42-500s. The Bangalore-based carrier already operates seven ATR 42-320s. It started its operations in 2003 with a fleet of four ATR 42-320s. Sun-Air is acquiring two Dornier 328 turboprops from AvCraft, adding to six other secondhand 328s it is taking from lessor Debis AirFinance. The Debis turboprops begin arriving in October while the AvCraft aircraft reach Sun-Air in November. Adria Airways has ordered a single 50-seat Bombardier CRJ200 and taken an option on a second. The airline currently operates five CRJ200s and is the Bombardier CRJ recognised service facility in Europe, providing heavy maintenance and overhaul services for the region's CRJ fleet.
