Dutch charter carrier Martinair is to lease two new Airbus A320s next summer to help boost its network in the Mediterranean with the ability to serve lower-density routes. To date the carrier has had an all-Boeing fleet of 747/767/757s and MD-11s. The A320s will seat 180 people and be powered by the International Aero Engines V2500.
