The parent company of Malaysia Airlines (MAS), Penerbangan Malaysia (PMB), has signed a firm purchase agreement for six Airbus A380s. The aircraft are scheduled for delivery from 2007 and will be used on key trunk routes to Europe and within the Asia-Pacific. MAS will lease the A380s from PMB, as it does with all other aircraft in its fleet.
