MDC tackles software

McDonnell Douglas (MDC) has picked Alydaar Software to correct computer programs affected by the "Year 2000" problem - when 2000 could be interpreted as 1900 because programs use only the last two digits of the year. Alydaar, of Charlotte, North Carolina, will use its SmatCode process to correct software written in different languages in a pilot programme for MDC.
