McDonnell Douglas (MDC) has opened a commercial-aircraft marketing office in Sydney, Australia. It is to be headed by Thomas Epperson, who is appointed vice-president of commercial marketing for South Pacific operations. He has been with the US manufacturer for 30 years, in marketing, government contracts, finance, and as programme manager for the A-4 Skyhawk military aircraft.
