Jordanian Private Jets will mark its 10th anniversary next year by opening the country's first privately owned fixed-base operation in the Red Sea port of Aqaba.

The Amman-based aviation services provider says the up-and-coming resort, which sits on the border with Israel and Saudi Arabia, has a flourishing economy and is becoming a regional business hub.

JP Jets manages a fleet of 10 private jets and provides handling at Amman's two airports.

General manager Nader Manna says the company is poised for success in its second decade. "The market is promising and we are doing very well," he says.
