MEBA: Satcom1 offers app for in-flight voice calls

Satcom1 has launched its AvioPhone app for smartphones that allows users to stay connected while in the air,

The app provides "reliable and secure voice communication" for both business and personal users, and is available on the Apple and Android platforms, says Karina Larsen, chief executive of Satcom1. This is an enhancement to Satcom1's office-in-the-sky concept, which the company launched earlier this week.

"In today's corporate world, it is vital to stay connected while on the go in order to conduct business easily and efficiently, and this is exactly what AvioPhone is able to do," says the company.
