It's bon anniversaire for French firm Meca-Protec Industries which celebrates 20 years of supplying surface treatments to the aeronautic industry this year.
The firm, based in Muret, near Toulouse, was founded in 1985. It specialises in all types of surface treatments, as well as parts manufacturing using chemical or electrochemical techniques, as in chemical milling and electroforming.
Delphine Ferrie, an executive assistant for the company, says: "Over the last 20 years Meca-Protec has grown from a small company to one with more than 200 employees.
But the airline industry remains our primary area of interest accounting for 96% of sales."
