Swiss members-only scheduled carrier Club Airways has filed for bankruptcy and ceased operations, although there are signs the venture could be revived with new investors.The Geneva-based carrier, which operated scheduled services to London City Airport and Paris Le Bourget using business aircraft leased from Club 328, filed for bankruptcy at the Geneva canton surveillance authority for debts and bankruptcy on 19 April. Airline finance specialist Barons Financial Services has taken over administration of its assets and is expected to make an announcement about future investors within weeks. All but two former staff have been made redundant.
