Goodrich is to acquire a 95% stake in German aerospace lighting company Hella Aerospace. The Lippstadt-based operation will be merged into Goodrich's existing lighting business which will be renamed Goodrich Hella Aerospace Lighting. Mercury Air Group has sold its RPA airline automation software business to international air transport information services provider SITA for an undisclosed sum. Satellite communications networks specialist ViaSat is to acquire the products business of Lockheed Martin Global Telecommunications (LMGT) for cash and stock. The products group, acquired when LMGT merged with Comsat last year, makes broadband satellite terminals. Orbital Sciences has completed the sale of its interest in Canadian space systems company MacDonald Dettwiler and Associates (MDA) with a public share offering, which is expected to net $19 million. The remaining stake will be sold via a public offering in Canada and a private placement in the USA.
