Reflectone, BAE Systems' simulation and training unit, has been renamed Flight Simulation and Training in line with the UK giant's new corporate identity, adopted after the BAe-Marconi Electronic Systems merger. Reflectone, founded in 1939, was acquired in 1997. Dallas-based Aviation Group has approved the purchase of air-ticket bulk-buyer Global Leisure. Frankfurt Airport operator Flughafen Frankfurt/Main (FAG) and Portuguese airport company ANA have formed a new ground handling service, Portway Handling de Portugal. ANA will control 60% of the venture and FAG the rest. Reed Elsevier, parent of Flight International, plans to sell travel-information provider OAG as it focuses on core scientific, legal, and business publishing activities. Aviation fuel marketer World Fuel Services of Florida has completed the sale of its International Petroleum oil recycling business to Dallas-based Earthcare for $33 million. Sage Parts Plus has been formed from the merger of ground-support equipment components supplier Sage Parts and Parts Plus Logistics, both of the USA.
