Perceptronics is to sell its training simulation business to Torrance, California-based simulator manufacturer Eidetics for an undisclosed sum Bombardier has sold its UK defence services business, including Airwork, to UK shipbuilding specialist Vosper Thornycroft for £30 million ($45.6 million). Completion of the deal is dependent on the UK Ministry of Defence agreeing to the transfer of contracts. Thomson-CSF subsidiary DSNP has acquired marine global positioning system specialist MLR as part of a strategy to create a leading player in the global navigation and positioning systems market. Both are based near Nantes in France. Pacific Aerospace & Electronics has completed the acquisition of Nova-Tech Engineering's assets, which will become the engineering nucleus of Pacific's aerospace engineering & fabrication division.
