Kellstrom Industries has completed the purchase of the aircraft and engine parts resale business of Aviation Sales. The latter has meanwhile agreed to allow 23% shareholder LJH to increase its holding to up to 30%. Litton Industries has restructured its Information Systems Group, creating three divisions from its PRC subsidiary, namely TASC and PRC Government Solutions, Defense Systems and Maritime &Range Systems divisions. Lockheed Martin is offering to repurchase up to $1.95 billion of outstanding debt issues. It will finance the buy-back from cash balances and the $1.67 billion proceeds from the sale of Aerospace Electronics Systems to BAE Systems. Rockwell Collins has completed its acquisition of K Systems, parent of Kaiser Aerospace and Electronics, strengthening its display solutions capabilities for military tactical and tanker/transport aircraft.
