Rolls-Royce has sold Vickers Turbines Components, which makes precision-engineered aerospace products and was acquired last year with Vickers plc, to Royal Bank Private Equity for £74 million ($110 million). BFGoodrich has completed its purchase of Raytheon Electro-Optical Systems, making it a leader in satellite attitude determination and on-orbit control systems, and of Autoliv's OEA aerospace unit, which supplies pyrotechnic devices for space, missile and aircraft systems. Elbit Systems' US subsidiary EFW has bought Honeywell International's Display and Orientation Products business, specialising in helmet displays and tracker products for military helicopters, for $14 million. Precision Castparts has bought aerospace forgings specialist Drop Dies and Forgings of Cleveland, Ohio, for $23 million. DeCrane Aircraft subsidiary Avtech has bought Motorola's SELCAL flight information decoder business. Bristol Airport, UK, has been bought from FirstGroup and a local authority by Australia's Macquarie bank and Spain's Cintra.
