The UK's Ultra Electronics has reorganised, with recently acquired Ferranti Air Systems absorbing Ultra Airport Information Systems, and Datel Defence integrated into its Air and Land Systems unit. Canada's Derlan Industries has decided not to divest its aerospace operations and will instead sell its industrial pump group to reduce debt. Derlan is a leading manufacturer of helicopter transmissions. Trimble is to sell its Air Transport Systems business to Honeywell. The deal is subject to approval. AHL Services is to sell its US and European aviation security and handling services businesses to the UK's Securicor for $185 million in cash. The businesses, comprising Argenbright and the ADI Group, had revenues of $450 million last year. Teledyne Technologies has sold its aerospace castings business, Teledyne Cast Parts, to CP Acquisition, an affiliate of California-based Consolidated Foundries.
