Avionics manufacturer Rockwell Collins has completed the acquisition of in-flight moving-map and cabin information system supplier Airshow from its owner Acterna.

Finnair has agreed to sell its ground equipment and operations business to ABB for an undisclosed sum.

CMC Electronics has sold its military communications business to Ultra Electronics for C$52.9 million ($33.9 million).

BAE Systems has sold its chaff and flares division to US West Coast-based manufacturer Esterline Technologies. Esterline paid $67.5 million cash for the Electronic Warfare Passive Expendables Division, which is US-based.

France Telecom has sold its Stellat satellite operating company - which has one satellite, Stellat 5 - to Eutelsat for €180 million ($177 million). Eutelsat will use Stellat 5 to reinforce its coverage of Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

L-3 Communications has acquired ComCept, a network-centric warfare specialist, for an undisclosed sum. ComCept is forecast to make $24 million in sales in 2003.
