European competition authorities have cleared Goodrich's planned acquisition of TRW's aerospace components business. The $1.5 billion deal was signed two months ago. Italian companies Datamat and Vitrociset have joined to form the new S2LOG Group, to provide services and systems for defence logistics management. The companies already co-operate in information logistics services for Eurofighter aircraft. Aerojet, a subsidiary of US manufacturer GenCorp, is buying the assets of General Dynamics' Ordnance and Tactical Systems Space Propulsion and Fire Suppression business for $90 million cash. Italian industrialist Marcelo Gabana has bought 3.37% of Gandalf Airlines, the private Italian carrier based at Orio al Serio Airport near Bergamo. General Dynamics has acquired Command System Inc (CSI) for an undisclosed sum. CSI is based in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and employs 34 people. Satellite systems provider Integral Systems is to acquire satellite test systems company RT Logic for $36.5 million.
