A 15 March crew training incident involving a tailstrike did not create any serious damage as stated erroneously in Flight International (22-28 July, P34). The DC-9-50 (I-SMEU) was repaired and is flying again, Meridiana confirms. We apologise for the error, which resulted from mixing two data entries.
