Mexicana has taken delivery of the first of 10 CFM International CFM56-5B-powered Airbus A318s it is leasing from GE Capital Aviation Services over the next 12 months. The 100-seat A318 will be operated on the airline's domestic network as well as to points in Canada, South America and the USA. The airline already operates 15 A319s and 25 A320s.
