Midcoast Aviation has begun outfitting the first of four Global 5000 super-large business jets for Bombardier. The completed aircraft is scheduled for delivery to the customer in August, says St Louis, Missouri-based Midcoast.
Already an authorised service centre for the Global Express, Midcoast says it will install custom interiors in four Global 5000s under subcontract to Bombardier, which is focusing its Montreal completion centre on production-standard interiors.
The next two green aircraft are set to arrive at Midcoast for interior completion and exterior painting in April and the fourth in May, with the last of the four to be delivered to the customer in June next year.
