Two Airbus A318 corporate aircraft have been ordered by a Middle Eastern customer, both to be equipped with CFM International CFM56 engines.
The customer has not been identified by Airbus, whose order figures last month showed that a private customer deal for two A318s was concluded on 13 May.
No delivery date for the aircraft has been given. Airbus says A318 sales account for about a quarter of the 100-plus corporate jet agreements it has so far sealed.
