Penny & Giles Aerospace has announced the launch of the Miniature Acquisition and Recording System (MARS) in Hall 2/B24.
The new product, for monitoring aircraft and engine performance, records flight data performance for use in regional and commuter airlines' Flight Operations Quality Assurance (FOQA) programmes.
MARS is designed to provide a cost-effective solution to processing and recording flight data, says business development director Ian Biscoe.
"MARS records the additional information required for flight operations analysis that is not recorded by the traditional ‘black box' Flight Data Recorder (FDR)."
