With two cuts of a ribbon and bangs on a gong, Singapore’s ministers for defence and transport officially opened Asian Aerospace 2006 yesterday.
After cutting the ceremonial ribbon, Minister for Defence Teo Chee Hean and Minister for Transport Yeo Cheow Tong were greeted in the Singapore Technologies Pavilion by a large crowd and five drummers.
The ministers each then banged a huge gong before touring the show.
