Honeywell and Stratos Aeronautical have introduced Mobile Connect, a ground-to-air communications service via Inmarsat satellites, providing business travellers with one telephone number, irrespective of which corporate aircraft they are using. Honeywell has also added a 2.4kbit/s data capability to its single-channel Airsat 1 system using the Iridium Satellite system.
