Delta Air Lines may be the major beneficiary of the liberalised bilateral that Mexico and the USA are expected to sign shortly. Delta has applied for eight new US-Mexico routes, more than any other airline. Under the revised accord, three instead of two carriers from each country may operate passenger flights between any US and 14 designated Mexican cities.
