Orion Network Systems has signed a tentative agreement with Matra Marconi Space for the purchase of the Orion 2 and 3 satellites. The Orion 2 will become the second Atlantic satellite, while the Orion 3 will serve the Pacific region (Flight International, 1 December 1994-3 January, 1995).
