Raytheon Systems has won an $11 million contract option to install advanced navigation kits in 16 Breguet Atlantic maritime patrol aircraft (MPAs) operated by the German navy over the next two years. In 1995, the US defence firm's Greenville, Texas, unit was picked to develop the navigation kit, which includes dual global positioning system receivers, control display navigation units, and was chosen to develop the Honeywell H-764G inertial navigation system.
