China Aircraft Leasing (CALC)’s MRO unit has been certified by European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) to provide line maintenance services for the Airbus A320 family as well as the Boeing 737NG.
FL ARI’s EASA Part 145 certification comes about half a year after it received certification from Chinese aviation authorities for aircraft disassembly.
The Harbin-based MRO firm hopes to also clinch EASA certification for base maintenance services “in the near future”, says company chief Donatas Dockus.
FL ARI, which is a joint venture between CALC, European MRO FL Technics and Aircraft Recycling International, currently provides line maintenance and repair services to two Chinese carriers.
