The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) has certificated GA Telesis for landing gear MRO services at the latter’s Miami facility.
This paves the way for the company to repair and overhaul Bombardier CRJ900 landing gears belonging to China Express Airlines.
GA Telesis and China Express signed a $27 million multi-year contract in July 2019 for landing gear repair and overhaul services. The agreement covers the airline’s entire fleet of CRJ900s.
Cirium fleets data indicates the carrier operates 38 CRJ900s, in addition to 11 Airbus A320s.
