Sichuan Airlines has picked Airbus to provide components and predictive maintenance on its incoming fleet of four A350-900s.
These will be done through the manufacturer's Flight Hour Services (FHS) and Real Time Health Monitoring Service (AiRTHM) programmes.
The support will provide line replaceable units and auxiliary power units, guaranteed spare parts availability, component reliability management and maintenance, as well as proactive maintenance to the carrier's A350 operations, says Airbus.
Sichuan Airlines was also the launch Chinese customer for the Airbus FHS programme in 2009, covering its fleet of A330 widebodies.
"This significant endorsement by Sichuan Airlines further reinforces Airbus’ position in the services market in China, and recognises our unique capability as an aircraft manufacturer," says Airbus's head of customer services Philippe Mhun
