Millitrade Wan Chee Kong W250MTech Imaging (Hall C, stand 332D), which supplies the Singapore Armed Forces with thermal imaging scanners, is displaying a range of tools at the show, for both military and civilian use.
Its newest device is the DriverViewer, which can be fitted to any vehicle and provides the driver with a real-time thermal image of the road ahead to help at night and in poor visibility.
Last quarter, MTech, a subsidiary of Miltrade Technologies, supplied Changi airport with the scanner for use in its airside vehicles.
Also of interest for aerospace customers is the PM200, a handheld radiometric infrared camera.

Speed
“It can be used to scan electrical panels on aircraft,” says Leo Chu, marketing and sales support. “If there are faults, the panel may appear hotter and can be located more quickly. We already supply this to the Singapore Armed Forces.”
MTech also makes specialist thermal scanners with medical applications, such as the Feverscan S3000, developed and tested during the 2003 SARS crisis, which carries out non-intrusive screening for people suffering from severe fevers. It is expected to be a popular seller in the event of a bird flu pandemic.
