Canadian kitplane manufacturer Murphy Aircraft has begun building a demonstrator of its new four-seat Yukon bushplane which it hopes to debut at next year’s Sun ‘n Fun show in Lakeland, Florida.

The Yukon has the same interior dimensions as Murphy’s SR3500 Moose bushplane but has a lighter airframe and engine and either tricycle or tailwheel configuration. Chilliwack, British Columbia-based Murphy plans to sell airframe kits for $35,000-37,000.
