MyTravelLite, the new low-fare carrier created by UK tour operator MyTravel Group, has launched services with two Airbus A320s from Birmingham International Airport. The carrier, which started flying on 1 October, is initially operating the two 180-seaters on services to Belfast International, Beauvais (for Paris), Geneva, and Alicante and Malaga in Spain. The aircraft and crews are being transferred from the sister charter airline MyTravel Airways. The airline's initial expansion plans comprise the probable addition of two more A320s from mid-2003.
