The first group of Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) pilots have graduated from the Nato Flying Training in Canada (NFTC) programme.

Captains Kelvin Khong and Lee Kim Leong have received their wings and have moved on to their operational conversion units.

The RSAF is sending its student pilots to the advanced training (phase III) and tactical lead-in fighter (Phase IV) elements of the NFTC programme.

A further two officers, lieutenants Kevin Lim Wee Seng and Timothy Siah Yang Teck, are currently on Phase IV of the course.
