Four consortia have tendered firm bids for a 46% share in the UK's National Air Traffic Services (NATS) public/private partnership (PPP), with a shortlist of two companies to be announced early next month. Authorising legislation is expected next March. Firm tenders have come from: Nimbus, a consortium comprising SERCO and PPM Ventures; Novares, including Lockheed Martin, Apax Partners and NZ's Airways International; Raytheon Systems; and The Airline Group.
