FuelerLinx (booth 4649) has teamed with CTA to embed its fuel management software into the latter's flight operations systems in an effort to deliver fuel cost savings for operators.

"What it means for us is that our customers will have embedded all the features of FuelerLinx," says Fred Powell, CTA-FOS chief technology officer. "They'll be able to very easily arrange fuel at every airport and get the best fuel prices without having to go through the steps of searching for fuel prices and managing each trip one by one, flight by flight."

According to Kevin Moller, president of FuelerLinx, the addition of the FuelerLinx software module to the CTA-FOS system provides flight departments, charter operators, aircraft management firms and others with "a very dynamic, all-inclusive way to better manage and control fuel prices at the push of a button.

"When a flight department begins the process of planning a trip, they often have the cumbersome task of contacting various fuel suppliers to determine the best cost of fuel for each fueling segment," Moller adds. "With FuelerLinx software, you can compare the best contract fuel prices available in a few keystrokes."

Because FuelerLinx is not web-based, but rather resides on the customer's hard drive, it is secure and keeps all transactions private. It finds the best fuel price at any location, schedules the trip, notifies the fuel vendor and tracks and reconciles invoices.
