Alto Aviation (booth 4838) has been selected by Honeywell to supply the sound system components for the latter's Ovation Select cabin management system.
Ovation Select has been selected by Embraer for the Legacy 450/500 series aircraft. "Embraer Legacy 450 and 500 customers will now have the benefit of a great cabin management system and a premier sound system that will turn their cabin into a virtual concert hall at 40,000ft," says Alto president Don Hamilton.
Alto's new digital amplifier was co-developed with Honeywell, and has been integrated with Alto's proprietary cabin acoustic modeling software. Alto will provide Honeywell with a lightweight audio package for the Embraer installation consisting of four mid/high enclosures, two subwoofers and a customised EQ/digital amplifier.
