HAWKER TERRAIN SYSTEM APPROVED
ACSS has certificated its Class A TAWS+ terrain awareness warning system for the Hawker 900XP and Hawker 750 business jets. The unit will become factory standard equipment in 2010. Other Hawker aircraft equipped with TAWS+ include the King Air C90GTi, King Air B200GT and King Air 350.
GULFSTREAM SELECTS ACSS TCAS
Gulfstream has selected the ACSS TCAS 3000SP as its standard traffic alert and collision avoidance system (TCAS) for its line of large-cabin business jets, including the Gulfstream 450, 550 and 650. The TCAS 3000SP is hosted in ACSS's Surveillance Processor, which can host a variety of safety avionics systems, including ACSS's new automatic dependent surveillance - broadcast product, SafeRoute. SafeRoute provides enhanced situational awareness to avoid runway incursions during taxi and improved efficiency in all phases of flight.
