Bombardier will unveil the cabin mock-up of its all-composite Learjet 85 at the NBAA Static Park tomorrow morning.
Even though the cabin is only 3in taller than that of the Learjet 60, the cabin immediately appears larger. One of the reasons for the deceptive space is because the cabin features only 90sq ft of veneer compared to the Learjet 60’s 400sq ft.
UK-based design house DesignQ was responsible for the design of the flight deck and the cabin. Seats will recline fully to create a four-berth cabin, while there are trays under the seats that are specially designed to hold a laptop.
