Embraer has selected the 5600E Head-Up Guidance System (HGS) from Rockwell Collins (Booth 259) for its Lineage 1000 business jet.
The HGS-5600E is a derivative of the existing HGS-5600, which is already certified for Cat III/Low Visibility Take Off (LVTO) capability on the Embraer 170 and 190 aircraft.
Rockwell Collins has also received European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and FAA Category III certification for its HGS-4860 on the Dassault Falcon 2000EX, joining the Falcon 900 and 200 family as the only Cat III-qualified fleet in this corporate market segment.
