Growing its repertoire of crew training simulators, Aircare Facts Training has added a new business aircraft-style cabin fire trainer.
Dubbed Facts Fire 1, the trainer can produce real smoke and live fire in an enclosed lavatory, a galley and in divan seating, while crew members uses smokehoods, protective gear and fire extinguishers to simulate battling the fire.
"Our job is to turn ordinary crews into elite crews, and the closer we can get them to the real thing, the better they can handle real-world situations in the air, in the hangar and at home," said Jeffrey Roberts, Aircare CEO.
