Business aviation manufacturers and operators trying to reach the Middle East market have a last-minute chance to take up the final place at the Bahrain Air Show, which takes place in January

Amanda Stainer Events & Exhibitions Director from Farnborough International, which organizes the show, is at NBAA with the Bahrain Civil Aviation Authority to promote the show, said: "We now have only one chalet left. The demand from industry for opportunities to participate in the show has been very high, as expected following such a successful launch event in 2010."

Bahrain is seen as a major entry point for business with Saudi Arabia. As home to the US Navy's Sixth Fleet in the Gulf, the country has good relationships with the US.

The three-day event will also feature a VIP gala dinner to be hosted by His Highness Sheikh Abdulla bin Hamad al Khalifa and attended by the official delegations, ministerial and government representatives and industry leaders. Companies confirmed to participate in the show include Airbus, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Cessna, Bombardier, GE and Sikorsky.
