Elliott Aviation is displaying a newly available glass cockpit retrofit for Hawker Beechcraft King Air 300/350s.
Elliott installed the Garmin G1000 integrated avionics suite on a Super King Air 350 parked at the DeKalb Peachtree Airport static display.
Garmin unveiled the new retrofit option for King Air 300/350s on October 5. The glass cockpit system includes two, 26.4cm (10.4in) primary flight displays and a 38.1cm multifunction display. The installed system also saves more than 90.7kg (200lb) compared with the previous cockpit avionics system, according to Garmin.
