The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) is to create a maintenance training scholarship, sponsored by 10 business aviation companies.

Offering initial technician training courses for several aircraft models to one or more applicants annually, the NBAA Maintenance Technical Reward and Career Scholarship is open to US citizens who hold an airframe and powerplant (A&P) certificate and are employed in general aviation, or students enrolled in either an accredited A&P programme or an approved FAR Part 147 school.

It is sponsored by Bombardier, CAE SimuFlite, Cessna, FlightSafety International, Global Jet Services, Gulfstream, Honeywell, Pratt & Whitney, Raytheon and Rolls-Royce.
