California-based Ikhana Aircraft Services has launched the Ikhana Twin Otter X2 modifications and maintenance package for the de Havilland Canada DHC-6 aircraft.

The program includes several proprietary modifications along with maintenance and inspections of the aircraft. Ikhana installs customizable avionics and interiors upgrades as part of the package. The maintenance center also replaces the life-limited parts of the structures on the aircraft to enhance its life.

"The key to the Ikhana Twin Otter X2 is the combination of our STC'd RWMI DHC-6 re-life fuselage with our RWMI re-life wing box to create value from an operator's unusable timed-out asset," said John Zublin, president and chief executive of Ikhana Group.

Ikhana is also working with the United States Export-Import bank on a financing option for international customers interested in purchasing the Twin Otter X2.
