BBA Aviation group company Ontic has announced it is launching global maintenance repair and overhaul support for Beechcraft King Air series aircraft, its first venture into turboprop support.
Ontic said its global legacy focus is run from manufacturing and MRO facilities in Chatsworth, California; Houston, Texas - where the King Air support will be centred; Slough and Cheltenham in the UK; and from a new Ontic base to open in Singapore in 2012.
Houston's general manager, Nicholas Stander, said: "This is a logical expansion for the Houston operation and Ontic as a whole, since supporting the King Air platform fits well with our core competencies and business model of life-cycle extension."
